Short Term Missions
May 2008 trip to Rwanda - The May 2008 team is about to leave for a two and a half week mission trip. This team will focus on ministering to the children in the Faith Home and the Kanombe Children's Home as well as the children that come to the feeding program. They will also spend some time at the New Acres of Hope property. The team leaves the Portland airport Thursday May 1st in the evening and will arrive back in Portland on May 17th. Please keep them in your prayers.
November 2008 trip to Rwanda - There will be a short term missions team going to Rwanda in November 2008. The dates for this trip are November 3rd-20th. The focus of this team will be to work on the Home of Innocence and the Acres of Hope. They will of course spend some time loving on and playing with the children at the existing homes and the children at the feeding program as well. There will be an informational meeting in June, so if you are interested in going on this trip stay tuned. You can also send an email to Darcee, the team coordinator and let her know you want to be kept up to date. The cost for this trip will be $3200 per adult (children with parents may be less).
