Child Sponsorship Program
At Risk Child Sponsorship Program
At Risk - will include children that are living with a parent or guardian, but the family needs technical, social, and or financial assistance to keep the child off the streets. TTI will look for one sponsor to support a child at $35 per month. $5 per sponsor will remain in the US for administration expenses and $30 per child will be sent to TTI Rwanda. This $30 per child will be put into the relief fund account and used to pay for school fees, visits by a social worker, medical insurance, other medical needs not covered by insurance, and other forms of assistance to help the family achieve a sustainable income. In Home Child Sponsorship Program
In Home - will include children that are orphans or are in families that are unable to manage these children. These children will be the ones living in the Home of Innocence (our transitional home) at some point. We will look for either one sponsor to support the child at $105 per month or two sponsors to support the child at $55 per month. $5 per sponsor will remain in the US for administration expenses and $100 per child will be sent to TTI Rwanda. This $100 per child will be put into an account marked "relief" fund. This relief fund will be used by TTI Rwanda to pay for everything these children need while in the Home of innocence. Once a child is placed with a family, the family will receive about 25,000RWF in cash, supplies, fees, or other assistance per month. The rest of the sponsorship money will remain in the relief fund to be used to pay for the continued visits by a social worker, repairs to homes, the ANLM feeding program, or other benevolent giving to assist vulnerable children or families. Technical Training/College Volunteer Sponsorship Program
Technical Training/College Volunteer - will include those that are deemed too old to start or return to a regular school. Instead they will be enrolled in a Training Center. TTI will look for a sponsor to support the student at $55 per month. $5 per sponsor will remain in the US and $50 per sponsor will be sent to TTI Rwanda. TTI Rwanda will use this money to pay for tuition, tools, and administration costs associated with the training. Also in this program are the College Volunteers - Those that have graduated from high school, are enrolled in college, and are volunteering with TTI Rwanda in various ways. We help them with tuition fees and other misc. expenses through out the year. Click here to sponsor a young adult in the Technical Training/College Volunteer program.
