Feeding Program
The feeding program that now feeds 50-80 street children twice per week, was started by Ten Talents International in 2004 and continues today because of the dedication of Africa New Life Ministries. This ministry to street children not only provides them with a meal but also a chance to wash their clothes and themselves. They also get the opportunity to feel the compassionate touch of an adult. They worship, pray, and listen to the word of God together.
It is here that we get the children for the Children's Homes. In fact the main reason for this feeding program is to build relationships with these children in order to more smoothly transition them back into family life.
Unfortunately, some of the children that come to this feeding program, may never have the opportunity to make that transition.
The child in the overalls in the picture to the left was hit by a truck and killed while living on the streets. It breaks our hearts to know that these little children live in such dangerous and unstable conditions. Please help us to reach them before it is too late.
